Hello all,
I am a Norwegian currently living in England. I have just started my studies of magic about a month ago with a view to do close-up magic as a hobby, so I've started with card magic and am currently going through the royal road to card magic, obviously I wasn't as patient as I should have and have gone through the book already but I have now started going through everything again and not moving on until I've mastered the move. I look forward to being able to interface with other magicians, which is just an awesome opportunity for someone such as myself. |

You should get Card College. I have been reading it and Royal Road simultaneously and they each have something to offer separately, even if they overlap in some areas. Card College especially has a good variation on the overhand shuffle control.

Welcome to the Café. You'll love this site. We're all here to help. Don't be afraid to ask. A lot of old-timers (like me) frequent the topics and are willing to help any way we can.
I look forward to your posts! Dave
One good thing about being wrong...
Is the pleasure it brings to others. |

Thank you,
I had actually thought about card college, from what I've seen it looks like a more comprehensive royal road, and it is known as a classic, I just want to finish the royal road before I get anything else. |
