I just read this article as part of the career management class I have to take to finish up my business degree.

It deals with having a 30 second commercial to tell folks about what you do. With a little thought, the ideas in the article can easily be adapted to working with prospective clients.

I know of several magic marketers (who are also big on networking), who teach about a 30-second elevator speech (aka 30-second commercial). It's an idea that's been around for quite some time, and is good to know about.

Also, there's this thread:

--> Magic Café thread titled... A W......or Pitch

I thought of you when I posted this Donald because I remember you saying something like this in a previous discussion, but thought that it might be new to some others. That and maybe some else can get a little something from all the tuition I pay Smile

It's always good to learn about marketing and business from magic sources and non-magic sources. And it's good to take the risk to be reminded of what you might already know. Sometimes you might have forgotten to impliment some small nuance of it, or you might know of it but not be doing it.

It's also a good practice to teach someone else, once you've learned something new. Jim Rohn and others talk about this.

If you are learning and growing, you aren't moving forward.
