Where can one obtain those eye chart cards...or just a DIY thing ? It IS a funny ending I admit. Would love to experiment with it.

I often don’t do the final phase (selected card reveal). I often just stop where the cards have all turned into eye charts, especially if I don’t have much time. Danny himself demos another phase with a joke eyeball as well.

Eye Exam is definitely a good one. I really like the old Magic Geek Chris Ballinger patter for this. When it comes to fun packet tricks that aren't really about the cards, one of my new favorite is a version of Richard Sanders Stickman 4.

I think my favorite is The Homing Card as performed by Fred Kaps.

It's been said already, but it looks like it needs to be said again:

The thing with Homing Card is you can use your monkeys, rabbits, or birthday cakes on cards. If you wanted to, you could use MtG cards or Pokémon cards. If you so desired, you could use pictures of celebrities. It is not an effect that lends itself to only poker or bridge type cards with the pips and royals.
If my thoughts of this being a packet effect that could lend itself to your criteria has offended you, I am sorry, it was not my intention. |
