PenSation By Werry Vs Pen Sensation by Mark Mason - Another JB rip-off?
BOTH do the same; (Pen Sation Ad. blurb) Secretly Obtain Written Information From Spectators! You hand a pen and notepad to a spectator, who is asked to think of any easy geometrical shape-a square, triangle, etc. The magician turns his back to prevent him from seeing anything and the spectator draws this figure on the notepad. While the magician still has his back turned the spectator is also instructed to draw a few other figures in different places on the pad to make knowing their thought-of figure impossible. Once the spectator is finished the magician turns back around and retrives the pad and pen. After a few moments of concentration, he crosses out all but one of the drawings-which turns out to be the spectator's selection! Ingenious gimmick does all the work for you Use any pen! Also works with words, colors, numbers, birthdays and more Any opinions on this? Frank.

I have found Mark Mason and his Brilliant assistant Doreen to be amongst the most creative teams in magic today, and their products to be the best.
But seriously They could and should be more ACCURATE and TRUTHFUL in their reviews as I should have been above. |

I have the best method...the one sold is absurd, messy, and cumbersome.

I have used it (JB version) with GREAT success. I would however be interested in your version. Drop me a line when you produce it. Regards, Frank.

It's very expensive for what you get, and can only be used a finite number of times...my method costs $1.00, and lasts 100x longer...
It's funny, I had the original for months and only used it a handful of times due the awakward reset time. It's such an amazing effect. With this improved method, I've started rotating it back into my walkaround set the past few nights... practically no reset time, and the desired "work", is identical |

The effect is also in Banachek's Psychological subtleties book (called Subtle Handwriting if I remember well). You can use any pen and it's really impromptu

I learned this 40 years ago from a library book. I guess what is old is new again, and people will buy anything.
