I just received a mint, never used, NOS boxed set of Rice's Haunted Chimneys, which I bought at Martinka's auction last month. It is beautiful! The tubes work like a dream. Came with original typed instructions (which are more detailed than those in the Encyclopedia) and ALL parts including an unopened small manilla envelope inside of which were all the original r***** b*****, which hadn't perished. The date on the second page of instructions reads 4/55. This is one beautiful effect and when I've become fully acquainted with it I'll be proud to perform it in my act. The Rice's Silk King Studios sure knew how to make quality props (as they still do!).

I have two of the large sets and one small set of the Chimneys. It is a great prop that still plays.

If you watch Marvyn Roy in the jewelry act do a version of this.
