Hello everyone, I have a manip act and Im looking for a good card holdout I could pin under my coat to hold about a half of a deck and easy access so I could grab them really fast.
Thanks for any help! |

In the past I've used a big bulldog clip with a couple safty pins attached to the top for holdouts. If you need to you might find them at Jeff McBrides web site store. But the first method is a little cheaper, plus it's just a start.

The butterfly shaped paper clips at any office store works very well.

Try UGM card holdouts that Sakoh uses in his act. Very good. It will cost you 100-120 USD but it is the best you can get.

MagicIans here on the Café makes a universal clip (basically a coin purse that you pin upside down.) It's inexpensive and I have used it for cards, silks, and a jumbo coin. I'll probably be ordering a few more.

Norm Nielson has a very good one at a very good price. It will hold a bridge size deck. You can find it at http://www.nmmagic.com

As simple as this is, no-one had ever used it before. I first sold them at Bob Littles booth in the 70's. We went thru over 3 gross (144) at the one convention alone. This was also featured in Tannens Catalog as well and got 3 stars in Genii (they didn't give 4 stars to gimmicks). I still sell them for the same price since the 80's. Leather clad clip which is modifed from a coin purse but in its modified state, it will hold half deck of poker cards, full deck of bridge cards, Jumbo coin (you can jump up and down and not lose the coin), Jeff used to use them for Tails jacket steals. Also holds and egg, cane, rope, silks, 8 cigarettes, a spread of coins, and a billiard ball. http://www.tricks.ws
