There are a couple things with street... one is that you can set a background or wall behind you if angles concern you. For tricks, you have to decide what tricks work with you, your character and your setting. Keep in mind the amount of distraction is 100 times that of on stage. Clean and simple is even more important.
Three obvious things. If you want to do tricks for a few people, do small stuff, but if you want a big crowd do big stuff. How you get your crowd determines everything. Your relationships with people are more important than your tricks, ESPECIALLY on the street. Here is a trailer from my duo show in the street, which we have a circle version, and a backdrop version of... it is built on the idea of vaudeville shows (Thanks Dr. Tarbell...) http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x962qk_......JcetVvkw |

I would suggest a trick called the Vanishing Bandanna its a very good and simple routine which gets a lot of laughter from the spectators, the hardest thing about this routine is getting the presentation to your style (not hard at all just work on it) you could make this a very funny routine and will play big to the crowd, as I said simple routine easy to do you put a CD in and it does all the talking for you
If You Have No Guts Then There's No Glory!
