I figure this post could go here since I am dealing with silks ties.
I am competing in the Daytona Magic convention in the close up competition. I am looking to put the cut and restore neck tie. I am trying to find good ties that are easy to cut and where I can find bundles of cheap ties, like a package of ties for cheap. Anything information can help me. |

William88,
There might be another solution, avoiding to spend hundreds of dollars for ties. Can't tell you more in the open forum. But just think about it and you'll find the solution yourself. Oliver. |

William,
About three years ago George Schindler and I were attending a magic show and discussing that very problem. In the 60s and even the 70s we could get all the good new and matching silk ties we wanted for $1.50 each on 42nd Street. Back then we thought nothing of it. Life changes things! (Of course, we could have gotten lunch for $1.50 too!) Good luck! Bob Sanders Magic By Sander PS --- You might try a company that supplies company uniforms (including airlines and restaurants). They may have a deal for you. |

I don't know about lunch prices, but the price of neckties went down to a buck the day Dollar Stores were invented.

I just released the Blendo Tie again using a Red, white and blue tie as the finale. ------------ I also had a method for cut and restored that used one tie over and over again.

William88,I can pass this on to you. If Bob Sanders and Magic Ian put you onto a good deal you will do well for yourself by looking into it. I know them both and have done business with them. I am not their biggest customer but I was treated like I am both before and after the sale. Thought Farmer.
