Heya folks

I've been performing magic for a long time now and am just getting started in balloon sculpturing to branch out a bit.

I just ordered both Bad to the Balloon DvD's to get me started, as well as a bunch of bags of Q's and B's.

Just wanted to say hello and that I am very excited to be joining you guys and gals here. I should have done this 30 years ago, but hopefully the old cliche stands... "better late than never" Smile

Looking forward to seeing you all around!

Hey Jay,

Welcome to the wonderful world of latex.( I bet my Mom never thought I would ever say that). Mark's Bad to the Balloon DVD's are a great way to get started. I just got back from a gig and I used some of Mark's designs at the gig. I don't know where you are in New Jersey, but you may want to see if there is a Balloon Jam in your area that you can attend. I know the New York folks get together every so often. It is at the jams that you can learn some cool techniques.

Nice Mark! What part of Jersey were you from?

"Support Joisey product or I send Uncle Joey over ... capisci?"

Capisco! I'm not a huge fan of those concrete shoes that Joey totes around with him!

Thanks for sending them out so fast, I am looking forward to diving in when they arrive.

Graham, Thanks for the link! I will head on over and check that site out!

I really appreciate all the advice!

Thank you Mark for the time and effort for putting out your DVD's.

What's cool about your material is that it can be done quickly. At the gig Saturday a little boy asked for a sword, but ended up with a whole pirate outfit with your pirate hat. It didn't take that much longer to make the pirate hat in addition to the sword and a scabard for his sword. He walked around proudly displaying his pirate costume and all of the adults applauded and made all kinds of great comments. It makes me smile inside to know that I had a part in making that little boy feel good about himself, and provided a bit of wonder for the adults. This happens all the time when I make the pirate costume so it has become a standard piece for me. The effect to effort ratio is great!

Thanks again,
Steve

Hey Mark, got the DVD's in the mail today and so far have only had time to watch the first, but did so in it's entirety. I love it!! I love these hats! They're easy, they're fast and they're awesome!

I also love the "no talk" format, the music, the setting, the intro and I am extremely thankful for the detailed twist menu!

Even my wife and 3 year old sat spellbound through the entire thing, and they both just kind of wandered over as it started with no intention of copping a lounge.

Just wanted to say bravo man! And thank you!! I can see myself getting a ton of mileage out of these hats and ideas!
