I had created Symnergy's Wallet.
A better way to do Card in wallet effect. Here is the effect, A card is selected by the spectator from the deck. It is placed inside the "Symnergy's wallet" with secure band on it. The card is slid into the band and shown that there is no other way for the card to go under the band except sliding under those secure bands. The selected card is removed from the "Symnergy's wallet" and placed face up in the face down deck. No break, no crimp. Giving the deck a few good cuts, the deck is ribbon spread on the table to show every single card. And, amazingly, the selected card has vanished from the deck. With impossible feat, the card has transported back to the Symnergy's wallet in view all the time. The great thing I love about his wallet is that it requires NO palming, NO ditching, NO lapping, NO topiting, NO stealing, NO Pull, NO gimmick deck, NO R&S and it is visual and everything can be examinable. I hope to hear some comments on this Symnergy's Wallet. here is the link to the video http://www.Symmatrix.tk or Here Thanks for viewing Best Regards Symmatrix

I can't download the clip but it sounds like double stick tape or the "spread change" (I don't remember the exact name) and duplicates. I may very well be wrong but it doesn't sound like anything new.

It does not say anything about no force

To Redstreak:
Thanks for being the first to comment. Yup you are right. This Synergy's Wallet does not use the spread change or double side tape. But although it might not be new to you. But the handling is something that I came up with. A better handling. To Guccimagic, Nice to hear from you too. Talking about force it will depend what effect you are working with. Using Symnergy's wallet can be done with force or no force. For the effect you saw, the card is selected freely by the spectator. Thanks Symmatrix

Although this is an alternative way to do card to wallet, I'm not so sure it is a "better" way. To first place the card in the wallet and take it back out only for it to end up back in the wallet just doesn't make sense to me. I'd rather not mention anything about the wallet until I reveal that the card is in there. What you are doing with this wallet is anti-climatic. You are telling people that it's going to appear in the wallet, and then it does. There is no surprise.
But that's just me, I'm sure this has worked out well for you if you are releasing it to the public.

To Cardguy,
Basically, I am showing what Symnergy's Wallet can be done. This Effect is call Symnergy Transpost. Reading the 'effect' write out of Symnergy Transpos states that putting the card into the wallet is to show that the card has no other way of inserting into the wallet other than sliding under those secure bands. I know that is kinda no surprises. But using Symnergy's Wallet will with the combination with your routine and your own personal presentation style will create a wonderful impact to your routine. As the video that you see shows how Symnergy's wallet can work !!! Other than that will up to your creativity. Thanks Symmatrix

Hey Symmatrix,
Cardguy has a point. The loading in the wallet before hand, eventhough it's to show how securely it's fastened is a little suspicious. Not to mention the fast movement afterward. The fact that it's IMPOSSIBLE for a card to be in the wallet has to be realised by the spectator - not shown to the spectator. That's where the surprise comes in - the kicker, because you haven't been NEAR your wallet and yet there is the signed card - that's what fries them. In a regular signed card to wallet routine if you touch your wallet ANY TIME before the revelation - they might remember it (when they try to figure out how it's done) and thus draw their conclusions on it, even if you were just adjusting your pants or jacket. The placing of the card in the wallet is just too suspicious. The smart spectators will be able to crack this one. I'm sure you can come up with a better handling, so surprise me, show me what you can come up with next! Take care, Logan

Cool effect! Logan and cardguy have an intresting point, but I think that the use of the patter and time misdirection might make this a great trick!
Great idea, keep up the good work!

I think I have seen a wallet like the one used. Back home we called them "The Loggers wallet".
Out of work poeple in the timber industry used to make them out of wood, and sell them to the tourist in the summer. I have seen a version of this in leather on those tv ads for a credit card holder. Good use of the idea though. Just my thoughts |
