Hey guys,
just watched it yesterday, what an excellent gambling/cheating film. Some familiar dice switches, gaffed dice are shown, even a cold deck was done in the private poker game, and it was done WELL. They actually show it in slow motion from behind, so it's possible to learn it from the film itself. Excellent plot, Chazz Palminteri is an excellent actor, and I highly recommend anyone interested in dice cheating, or gambling flicks for that matter, to watch this film. 5/5 Michael |

Yeah, its out. I got it on netflix. Not your typical story. The subject matter with his son is done well.
I watched that final switch/drop and thought, no way. Only to see it in the GPS set the next day...

Just watched it again and overall it's a pretty good flic! The guy that plays Joe Jr. is not actually mentally challenged which IMO shows that he is a rather tallented actor as that is NOT an easy roll to play convincingly!
I'm not a dice man so I don't know how legit any of the moves were but they sure looked cool! MMc |

Here is some help for you Mickey.
Fast Jack Farrell Shows How To Pull A Fast One http://www.courant.com/news/local/hc-fas.......gallery Cut and paste it. By the way he is the little fellow at the table who asks to be shown how the cooler is put in, the one wearing the little leather hat.

Wow Tommy, great information here. Thanks.
Some beautiful pictures on that expose. Makes me a little sad it's so public. |

Well he says the reason he shows them now is because there is no private gambling any more, that the casino's wiped it out. I know what he means by that as I was around when private gambling was everywhere. Like him I hate the casino's.

I believe you if you say that private gambling is not as widespread as it once was, but I have had more than enough opportunities to trim marks while out on the road. Most of my gambling marks were other con men.
Just because someone is hip to one type of game (red card, pea), doesn't mean they know anything about trimming. And being a white boy, just starting out, they never suspected I had any trimming game -B

How popular is street craps nowadays? I don't think (with my limited knowledge) dice are popular at all in the UK, but how about the US?
