There is a restaurant in Colorado with no prices on the menu -- you just pay what you think the meal was worth. In the 90's innovative software was sent at "no charge" for users to try out -- then pay what they thought it was worth, or just to fuel the creative process. I believe the same concept should apply to eBooks of magical effects. Only the end user/performer can assess the perceived value -- not by watching YouTubes, not by reading marketing descriptions, not even by reading posted reviews. You should be able to get any eBook at no charge and then conscientiously pay what the ideas, sleights, gimmicks, etc. is worth to you. This might be $0.00 are a percentage of your new fame using the effects.
There is a lot of fear or apprehension over buying eBooks. This would eliminate the "rip off" fear, and also the fear of "looking foolish" to the spouse or peers.

The only problem I can find with this is that people who "just want to know the secret" can easily just "buy" books for $0.00
But aside that I applaud the idea |

Nothing is free - TANSTAAFL
I require a commitment to feedback on their intitial impressions of the material, later when they prctice, and again when they actually perform an effect. They can only get another ShareBook if they comply So far the 'donations' are no great, bu the referrals outnumber those I never hear from again. I have limited the number of ShareBooks, but now give a 50% price reduction on eBooks for those who get two or more ShareBooks and meet their commitment.
