This guy's music is helping me so much.
Hope you enjoy, it's a little magic-themed, although, metaphorically.

Revisiting this quite crowded first post of mine, I just realised I had posted the wrong link, while the above is a great tune, this here is the one I actually intended to post.

My ipod is full of memories, and you are a man after my own heart. Warren Zevon has been dead for several years now, and I play his music whenever I'm depressed. I also have a copy of the documentry of the last year of his life, but it is too sad for me to watch. My favorite Zevon song is the one he wrote after the doctor told that he had less than a year to live. I can't tell you the title of this song because he used two dirty words in it.

RIP Warren Zevon

Hey Al,
I love that song too, listening to it right now. I didn't know about Warren up to about a year ago. I had somehow came across "Numb As A Statue" and felt so understood. Later when I was really down because my girlfriend had split up with me, distracting myself researching magic, I found For My Next Trick I'll Need a Volunteer and it instantly cheered me up somehow. I've bought some of his albums since then and love everything he put out. It's hard to pin down what it is about his music, but I think it's his heart and soul that shine through a wild way of living and tragic death. A great inspiration to live one's life and a terrible loss.

Peace, brother

After he was given less than a year to live he decided to go on tour so he could die on the road, he outlived that tour, and then he went into the studio to make his last album. He had no time to fear death, the thought of death just made him work harder.

It is a pleasure for me to meet another hard core music lover at the magic Café.

Ben,

I've been using that song in my show for a while now. It's great isn't it. I cue it up to start at "for my next trick I need a volunteer" as I go through the audience. As many of you know, my show is filled with music and sound effects. I am always looking for suitable songs like this. Shame on you for tipping it here!! LOL. JK. I still use it to this day!

Al,, a classic. I think I've heard it before. That's from the same people that did 'Mr. Postman', right?
