I will like to ask, if there is any suitable prop, to achieve a color changing streamer effect, say, 10 foot? Can a palmo do the necessay work? Thanks.

How wide is the silk streamer? How heavy a weave is it? Are you doing the change in the hand? or is it in a rolled up paper? That will help us give you better answers

Yes, we need to know your performing parameters. It can be made self contained even.

There are color-changing streamers on the market. The ones I have seen change from black to multi-colored and they are somewhere around 4' long.

I think I will change my approach on this, thus will like to know if there is any dye tube that is suitable for holding a single 24 inch silk? Thanks.

I think a Palmo will hold a 24" silk if it is 5 or 6 momme weight. I also think that P&A made a dye tube for 24" silks.
