A family member is travelling to the USA and has agreed to take something back for me. I'd thought I'd save some shipping expenses and ask for them to get me some magic effects and accessories. Can someone advice me on how to locate magic shops in the Orlando and Tampa areas that I can peruse online so I can send the family member off with a wish list that fits in their luggage?

Google?
I just typed in "Magic shops in Orlando" and got info for websites, phone numbers, directions, etc.

Magic Max in Old town is the only shop in Orlando that I know of. We are in Orlando, but do not have a physical store. Don't know of a shop in Tampa. There is of course Daytona Magic in Daytona.

Agree with Dean on the Orlando situation. Not sure if they're interested in going over to the east coast but besides Daytona you have the Magic Dove on the Village of Cocoa http://magicdovemagicshop.com/
Great staff and the village of Cocoa is a nice place to spend a few hours. Shouldn't be more than a 45 minute drive from Orlando.

Hi all
I am off to Orlando on holiday with the family at the end of Oct for nearly 3 weeks. I am considering going to Daytona to maybe catch a day of the convention but I am not sure how easy it will be to get there. I will not have a car. Can anyone give me some ideas. Thanks Paul |

Without a car travelling in Florida is difficult. We don't have a great public transportation system here. Daytona is myabe an hour or so from Orlando (Theme park area). It really would make sense to hire a car (if you can) for the days you wanted to go to the convention.
Do a search for Orlando FL to Daytona Beach FL transportation I found a few services you might be interested in. |

Magic Dove shop has started to do more promotions recently with magic shows & contests every month. This month Michael Ammar will be performing a show and lecturing.
