Hello fellow magic people! I am trying to master "ROYAL FLUSH" in Card College Light but I must be missing something... After sorting the cards face to face and spades back to back then cutting the cards as per instructions, it appears in the text, after dealing the cards in to two seperate piles that the spades should be in one pile all facing the same way... nah not even all spades let alone facing the same way... am I missing something? I've read and re-read the trick but it just doesn't work out. HELP PLEASE ANYONE!

CardxShark,

First off, welcome to the Café. I hope you enjoy your stay here.

As to your question, I cannot help you. I do not own Card College Lite. Hopefully, some other members will pop up shortly and respond.

Again, welcome to the Café.

Mike

Okay I've realised that NOT all the cards in the pile have to be spades face up just some of them then when you turn that pile over and add it to the other pile on the table somehow the remaining spades in the other pile join the face up spades in that pile (if you see what I mean) *CLEVER!* That will teach me to run through the trick right to the end before making incorrect assumptions. I can highly recommend Card College Light as some very clever self working tricks and routines. I bet some of you must be thinking "what a dumb-ass"

Dear Shark, mistakes can happen for the most ridicolous reasons. I had an old, worn Tiger Deck, and there were in particular two cards ripped at sides. I used to put apart this couple to make some flourishes like, for example, the one hand shuffle etc.
One day I was learning a trick that required all the deck to work ; I tried, tried, tried and nothing, everytime it didn't succeed...I was really puzzled, I was following very carefully the explanations ; what was the trouble ? Then...I realized there were two card less in the deck...LOL !
We are just human.
