OK,
Here are some ideas that I have. Most of them will be great for Math people, but very boring for the rest. Magic with classic Fibonacci fruits. A shuffled deck of cards that something interesting happen to the cards in position 1 , 2 , 3 , 5 , 8 , 13 , 21 , 34 and 55 (using 3 jokers). Deal cards to piles, first pile as 1 card, second has one card, third has 2 cards then 3 cards, 5 cards, etc. Turn the top card of each. Use a forcing bag with many Fibonacci numbers, and do some mind reading and fast calculations. Use famous Phi pictures. Lior

Of course then, there is Serial Killer. I just wish it would work over there for you, Lior.
There is also the Fibonacci principle used in Larry Becker & Lee Earle's book test Double Vision. Hope this helps. Max

I've used a neat Fibonacci based number prediction before. I can't remember the source, but I wouldn't be surprised if I found it in one of Martin Gardner's great books. It goes like this: Two numbers (positive integers work best!) are chosen by a spectator and written on a piece of paper. The spectator performs successive sums, and the performer is able to predict the final sum, using only just a bit of trickery.
I'm looking forward to checking out "NINE." Philemon, is there an update on the Phi project? I'd love to hear about that one as well. |
