If FOX can ruin the secrets of magic effects, then it must be fair that we give away the secret endings of their movies, right?
In that spirit, this thread will contain links to descriptions of the endings of many of 20th-Century Fox's releases as they become available. Here are some for 5/29/03: Bend It Like Beckham Chasing Papi Down With Love Phone Booth X-Men 2 Help spread these around the internet, by sending them out, and explaining that FOX approves of revealing secrets. |

What would be better is to get the results of their reality TV shows 6 months in advance.
You could probably get ABC or someone to run a "Fox reality TV show's EXPOSED" show. I mean, just think if everyone would have known richard would win from the beginning.... maybe we wouldnt have survivor in afganistan and antartica, and the series would have stopped before it started. |

How funny would that be? I like the idea of running a tv show, I can see it now...
'Magicians Strike Back-The biggest FOX shows revealed-Featuring the masked Producer' I still don't think that those shows really did any damage, but I would like to see the look on the faces of Fox's executives if a show like this came out... (mouths dropping open and them slowly muttering the the words..."oh no." in disbelief...followed by... ...followed by ...and then followed by with the words..."were sorry" and then us... P.

I hear Fox is going to run another special, this one being titled "Secrets of Magic Showmanship & Presentation Finally Revealed!" I actually might watch this one.
By the time you read this, you've already read it.

Macgyver has the best idea... if there was a way to get there stupid reality show results and send them to everyone then they would finally see what its like to have your secrets thrown away to everyone. And Scott Cram keep up the good work with the spoilers I know i sent the results out to as many as possible

Actually, wouldn't spoiling the endings of movies be more punishment to the writer, director, cast, and crew than the studio who funded it?

Perhaps this might serve to punish the studio... describe the amount and quality of the 'flesh' not shown and the amount of interesting footage in minutes.
ie what does the audience get to see of the performers? and how much better is the film than the preview?

If it were done on a wide enough scale, though, and focused on a particular studio (in this case FOX), then maybe fewer and fewer actors/writers/crew/etc. would want to make movies with that studio. Why make a movie you know will get ruined in the first week? |

Re: The League...
For those who read... the book is still in print and far more clever than this movie plot. Not sure if the publisher is a subsidiary of Fox though.

ok, is it just me, or is exposing the ending of movies ruining it for the viewer the most?
The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are

I don't think exposing the endings to movies will have any impact at all. Anyone can find the storyline, script, and/or ending to any movie out there is they are resourceful. But people don't go to the movies for the ending, they go for the whole experience. Generally, they are only going to look up the endings to movies they don't ever intend to see in the theatre anyway, lest the ruin that experience.
I think the whole point of this post is to slap FOX in the face for their atrocities to magicdom.

Of course the Fox movie division really has nothing to do with Fox TV anyway. Picture the 2 divisions like two people holding hands - you're trying to slap the hand of one while expecting the other one to feel it! Carry on if you must, but I'd be more likely to support action directly against Fox TV (MacGuyver's idea would kick 'em where it counts).

Actually, I disagree.
Simpsons is WAY funnier than FG, however I do enjoy FG. Simpsons, first and best. However, I do agree that it is ruining it for the viewer the most. If I wanted to see a movie, I would not look up the ending. Heck, even if I didn't want to see it, I wouldnt care about the ending anyway. In my opinion, no impact at all. |
