I know Matthew from my time spent in Vancouver. I've seen him in action on the phone and he has to be the busiest magician around. While I was there recently visiting family I went out to lunch with him and a few other magicians. It was hilarious because his phone was constantly ringing with booking enquiries:) Nothing funnier than sitting around with a bunch of magicians and one guys phone is ringing with work:))
Regards paul

Hi Paul,
Long time no chat! It was great to see you for lunch in Vancouver, good times! Your post made me smile as my phone is ALWAYS ringing. The phone ringing is only half of the battle, picking it up, answering it correctly & selling the show & your services successfully is the other half. I wanted to share this with people at a price they could afford....so I wrote the PDF. By the way for anyone that has never had the pleasure of seeing Paul's act, he is fantastic!!! Good luck with the lecture tour Paul. Cheers, Matt Johnson http://www.thecorporatemagician.com/magicstore.html |

Just bought this from Matt Johnson and have to say that it is filled with practical advice that should, if applied, help you to secure the vast majority of telephone enquiries.
Contains valuable advice on how to deal with various 'stalling' tactics used by potential clients as well as solid advice on how to manage your magic business as well. I feel this is suitable for those about to enter into the world of performing magic for money - but at the same time, contains priceless tips in a concise fashion for experienced pros and semi-pros too! Thanks very much Matt for sharing this with the rest of us around the world - including me here in Hong Kong. I tried two of the techniques this afternoon and secured an otherwise 'iffy' prospect! |

Hi Guys & Girls,
Writing from the road here. Thank you for your continued support, PM's & Emails on my PDF's, it appears that they are very popular (which is a good thing). I will release more of my material via PDF download in the future & will continue to make it affordable. Magic Bern, I am glad that "The Rule of Thumb" has already made you money & helped you secure a show, that's great news! Thank you very much for your kind comments. Have fun with it my friend. Cheers, Matt Johnson |

You're very welcome Matt - I tell it just as it is! If you apply the techniques Matthew gives in his pdf, you WILL get the bookings! It isn't culture or country-specific - just solid tried-and-tested real world methods.

Magic Bern,
I do plan on releasing more PDF's in the future. At the moment I have a very busy lecture schedule for the rest of the year & a new product coming out in November that will be released at Mindvention so I probably will only have time to do one new PDF (if any) before the end of 2009. I will keep everyone posted. Cheers, Matt Johnson P.S. Thank you to Timothy Hyde for his great review of "Rule of Thumb" |
