This is a GREAT COMPANION if you have his Book: The Magic of Michael Ammar. Buy all 5 items... You won't be sorry that you did. All his stuff is killer material (some you will need to prepare, like the 2 items that deal with ice-- NOT my "cup of tea".) But the card, coin, thumbtip, rubber band, and other effects are definitely worth the investment. .
You know how to make God laugh?........... Tell him your plans!!!

This just got reviewed in the September '09 issue of GENII.
Although it states a few things are outdated, the bulk of it is great stuff if you are a coin or card lover. |

Michael's card work on this set is first rate. Things you don't see him do on the easy to master set like passes, side steals, etc. He gives a master class on Marlo's side steal.
The one move "Ambitious Card Bluff Move (Tommy Wonder)" is actually Phil Goldstein's ( Max Maven ) move. Tommy Wonder used it in his Ambitious routine and got credit for it,but it's Max's move. It's good to see the set on DVD because there is important work on it that still holds up.

They came out on VHS around 2000. I was surprised to see how good Mike was with the cards. I just had never seen him do any advanced work like that.
He does a great teaching of the Gallo Pitch.
