Hey all, I'm looking for some resources on magicians from the past. I love lots of info to read in a book, not just a few pages on half a dozen mainstream names. Something serious would do my palate well.
Ideas? thanks, DM. |

Don't know if still obtainable but Vernon wrote about Malini and Leipsig. Gibson had a book out years ago called "The Master Magicians", and I found it a good read.

There are a number of biographies out there for magicians of the past, do a search on a search engine of the magician's name and "biography" that should turn you up quite a few.

Don't forget the classics, such as Lives of the Conjurors by Frost, and the various Christopher books.
