So, I have read the threads about band replacement but I have a specific question. This question is in reference to a Tango Pro Flipper, Kennedy Half. I have removed the small section of the back from the sh--l. While prying out the final fragments of the rubber band, the thin grey metal that holds the band to the small section of the back poped off. Woops. Is this typical? Or is it time to notify Mr. Tango?

I worked it out. It was a pain, but it is done. I used super glue. Also, when it was back together it didn't open smoothly like it did with the old band. It was locking too tightly. I used sandpaper and filed down the flipper. Now it drops open, like a gravity flipper. I'm good to go...

I own 3 of these flippers, If you like it Tight you need to use the Band for a Quarter. If you like the gravity style then use a band that is neoprene, They don't break down like the latex does. I use a flipper to be a flipper so I like the band a little tight. Gravity flipper to me you might as well just use a shell. Just my feeling on the subject.
But you need the smaller band to make it like when you got it.. |

The smaller replacement bands came in my packet but I can't even stretch them to even come close to getting around the coin. I'm even having trouble with the little bit larger bands. Just can't get the right fit. Heeelp. Dave
