I am using a suede tool belt/pouch from Lowe's to hold balloons when I work. It is not ideal, but it works with some limitations. I have one with a couple of hammer holders - large wire half circles. I first thought I could put a hand pump there, but they slip out. I discovered a use at my first real gig. When I pump up the first balloon of a 2 or 3 balloon hat, I don't like to put it under my arm, I sweat. If I put it through the hammer holder, it holds it in place. If I don't want it to touch the ground, I can put it on the top of my shoe that way. My gig was indoors, on a nice carpeted floor, so I wasn't too worried the first time out.
So just thought I would add that for those going a non-traditional route. I like the tool belt look, especially since it's the only time I really wear one. I am one of those hobbyists who is always at Lowe's, yet I do no home improvement. |

Are you using the ziplock bags for a speed load?

Um, no I am not. I have a very random set up. Each pocket has certain color groups, or other shapes. I do have spillage when I put it on and take it off. Ziplock bags sound like a good answer. Will have to try that out. Particular size you recommend? Usual sandwich bag? Old-style ziplock or new plug-style?
