That is too cool. I would love it in airports.

Ever since I started working with metal I've always wanted to build a 2 stroke engine powered unicycle. I never intend on riding it, but I would build one nonetheless. I just picture Wile E. Coyote scenes in my head involving massive head injuries.

That looks like fun, but using it in a show, would detract from the audience perception of skill.

I've seen a picture of a motorcycle, mounted inside a single wheel. Apparently because of the design, the center of gravity is higher, and the thing is stable.

If you sat a little bit higher up and it was painted flat black, it could be used in a cool black art act. You would just glide around the stage with no hint of what was propelling you. Hmmmmm.

There was a guy on Carson when I was a kid that had a gas powered unicycle. He had a hell of a time getting it started before he finally rode it around stage. Looked harder than it is to ride a normal uni.

Rick, I have been dreaming of a carry on suitcase I could ride around the airport for years. Larger so it could have a bigger battery.

Cool idea Todd.

Your suitcase transporter is a great idea.

I heard a story once, about a French rocket scientist, who mounted a rocket gyroscope in a suitcase, and went to the train station.

He turned it on, set it down, and got a porter to carry it for him. But when the porter tried to change directions, the suitcase wouldn't. After some struggle, the porter ran off terrified, screaming that the thing was accursed.

One of the few failed gags on the old Candid Camera show as this very bit. They put a gyroscope in a suitcase and had people in an airport try to carry it. In every instance they taped, people asked "It there a gyroscope in this bag?"

The MIGHTY CHEESE!

Didn't someone re-create it for a convention a few years back?

Yes and no. Someone did build a new one, but the original was displayed and demonstrated at the Magic History Conference a few years ago.

Oh, really?

I thought the original was somehow destroyed. Josh Jay has a really amazing original litho of the Mighty Cheese in his living room, it is huge.
