Ok...so I'm hoping this will be a fun discussion! I was curious how (those of you who use it or have used it) you present your Rabbid?
Back in the day when I used a live rabbit in my show, I would produce a live rabbit via a production box, and display him to the audience. Then I'd place him into a change box where I'd pull out a big box of what look liked Soap Flakes (but printed on the box it said "CRACK" and I'd pour the soap flakes all over the live rabbit (not really). Then I'd show that the live rabbit changed into Rabbid. Haven't used this in my show in a few years and am thinking about putting my old routine back in my show. How do you use this prop? Let the ideas fly.... Christopher

I use to produce him from a dove pan.
"The New York Papers," Mark Twain once said,"have long known that no large question is ever really settled until I have been consulted; it is the way they feel about it, and they show it by always sending to me when they get uneasy. "

Hello Christopher,
I use a tip over box. I tell everyone that it's time for my assistants break, so I need someone to fill in for her during the next trick, I pull lots of items out, handing them to my helper to hold onto. When I get to the rabbid, the helper can't possibly hold anything else, so I have them bite onto it's ear. It always get a lot of laughs. And yes, I always clean it's ears with disinfectant after every show. Bob. |
