Just a note to let you know I've got another new eBook available. It's called "THREE KILLERS" and it contains three of my workhorse coin routines. Here's the ad copy:
Quote:
Three KILLER coin routines from Scott's professional performing repertoire. Not only are these routines powerful and commercial, they are easy to learn and perform! These are the three most-performed coin routines from Scott's arsenal--the bread and butter material he has used to make a living for years. Scott has held nothing back: the routines are masterfully explained, profusely photo-illustrated, and include all the subtleties and nuances, along with complete, professional performance scripts! The three effects can be performed one right after the other to form an entire coin set--in fact, that's exactly how Scott performs them, and he explains how. There is good variety between the routines, and audiences absolutely love all three! Available now at http://www.scottfguinn.com/coinmagic.asp

Scott Guinn's Three Killers EBook $15.00
Well, Scott is at it again, pulling out his best for us. In this EBook, Scott give us his top 3 Killer coin routines. These are the ones that help with his reputation. Scott could've kept them to himself but he didn't. He wants to share the routines with you that have helped make him what he is today. A GREAT Magician !! The first routine from the EBook is "Magic Western Union" Scott took Eddie Fechter's "Flying Eagles" routine, which is a classic as a base and added the Guinn touch. Three coins travel from one hand to join three quarters in the other. Then the spectator holds all six coins in their hand. The Magician takes an invisible coin, makes it disappear into the spectator's hand. Now they hold seven. If that's not enough the magic doesn't stop there. You take the invisible coin, which is now visible, and it grows three times in size in the spectator's hand. Now your done. Scott gives you all the details you need to pull this beauty off. Plus, he also gives you two different presentations (scripts). One for adults and another for the younger crowd. How often do you see this happen ..... a magician giving his script away with the routine? The second routine is a favorite of mine. In Scott's book "Great Scott! It's Coin Magic!", there's a routine that's called "Invisible Coins," which I feel in love with. I always wanted to do this routine with two different coins, but never went back to it. Fortunately, Scott did !!!! This routine is just that. "Invisible Coins of Different Color" is a two coin routine where each coin turns invisible then visible again in a stunning and magical way !!! Your clean as a whistle at the end. Can you say KEEPER? Script included. Now for the final routine of this EBook. Save the best for last. "In-Tin-Tin" Now while you've been doing the other two routines for your audience you had a spectator holding onto a bag for safe keeping, or in case of an emergency. You have a spectator sign a coin, it vanishes!...Seriously, it's gone without a trace! They dump out what's inside the bag that the spectator has been holding for the whole time. Now this is where it gets really good. The spectator, NOT you, open, the shoe Polish container. Inside an envelope is found wrapped with rubber bands, spectator takes off the rubber bands, opens envelope, dumps out a box, then another, and another, and another, etc. Finally, the last box is opened. A coin is found inside. Could it be? No way, is it! Yes it is !!! The spectator's signed coin. What makes this handling so different than others is that the spectator does all the opening and dumping of contents. Usually, the magician will dump out the coin, but not in this one. Great way to end your show.(script included) There's a reason why I've been a Scott Guinn fan for a long time. These three routines are the proof why I am. Scott left no stone unturned. Use all three of the routines for a set or do just one. It doesn't matter. The reactions you get will be amazing. Highly Recommended !!!!! http://www.scottfguinn.com Tim

Scott - Is 'In-Tin-Tin' in one of your other books, or is this the first time this has been published? Thanks -

All three have been published before, and are in books that are now out of print. The explanations have been edited and expanded here. MWU and ITT are in "Great Scott It's Coin Magic" and "Invisible Coins of a Different Color" is in "Profiles in Coinage".

Thanks for the info - I already have both of those (took me a couple of hours to track them down), but had overlooked ITT. This sounds like a fantastic routine, I just need to gather the necessary props. Best of luck with this -

This is cool, real cool. This is what I first posted about it on another forum here in another string http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......rum=3&10 . My sentiments agree with what's here above.
Mb said: "One killer is bad enough but Scott Guinn's latest coin assault brings you "Three Killers," a NEW ebook fashioned from three(3) of his very best coin routines. These are effects Scott has been doing for many years now, always to great appreciation, applause and amazement. The thing about Scott's work that I like is that it is always complete, he hammers every nail and makes sure every beam in the house is balanced just right. His material is a true tutelage on whatever magical discipline he undertakes and he's done just about all of it. Here he serves you up three wonders of the coin, "Magic Western Union," "Invisible Coin of a Different Color" and a little jewel called, "In-Tin-Tin." All fully explained with step-by-step photographs as to the moves to make them happen. There's nothing hard here that some good practice won't nail down for you but they are all solid and fun effects, and that Invisible Coin piece is just brilliant! Here's the rap sheet on Three Killers: - Magic Western Union - a commercial coins across (Flying Eagles) routine. Many have said this is the most entertaining presentation ever for this effect. - Invisible Coins of a Different Color - a copper coin and a silver coin are shown. One at a time, they turn invisible and then visible again. Incredibly magical! - In-Tin-Tin - an amazing, entertaining, and commercial signed coin to nest of boxes. The Guinn difference? The Nest is in view and under guard of a spectator BEFORE the coin is borrowed, and the SPECTATOR opens all the boxes to find his signed coin! Put this gang of three in your pocket and you're ready kill anywhere you go. He routines every one of them for you and of course leaves you room to do your own thing via suggestions and alternative routes. The ebook is well laid out, quite comprehensive and a real steal. Do yourself a favor and check it out on the "Great Scott" website http://www.scottfguinn.com/coinmagic.asp You're going to want to add Three Killers to your coin magic library and immediately to your repetoire. You get all you need here in this instant download to begin doing some fabulous coin work, plus any questions you might have Scott's always available and answers the bell everytime. It's a lot of well thought out work at an amazing value an absolute steal. More great work from The Great Scott that I highly recommend. http://www.scottfguinn.com "

I won't repeat so much of what the incomparable Marion said -- but I shall add that these are not "YouTube Wonders." The fact that Scott did not release them until they had YEARS of work says VOLUMES for the workability of these effects. I don't like to review things until I get a chance to work them -- but I expect a highly laudatory review from what I've read so far.

Ok, I have been practicing "INVISIBLE COINS OF A DIFFERENT COLOR" from Scott's Three Killers.
I like it because it uses just 2 coins and they vanish and reappear in different ways through out the routine. No difficult moves but the timing is important. I did it 2 nights ago for my wife who is a serious critic and she loved it. I decided it was ready for prime time and performed it at the restaurant last night. It played great. In fact, a magician bud stopped by and I did it for him and he was blown away. Nice job Scott. Well, back to my reading of Three Killers. -Alec

Thanks guys!
At the risk of sounding immodest, I will say this: These routines are, in fact, workers straight out of my repertoire. They play very well for me. I think they will for you, too!

Ah - I forgot that "Invisible Coins of a Different Color" was included in this. I tried that one out before -- and it's just as startling, and as simple, as Slyhand indicates. With this one item in the book, I'd recommend the book even if the other two effects were lousy.
And they're not. *jeep! --Grandpa

It looks like you have some real world "work horse" routines, Scott. I have never seen any of your material, but I've read enough about here at the Café, to be interested. I'm always on the lookout for solid walk-around material. I think I'm gonna check out your Bill to Lemon pdf and this pdf. I'll come back soon with a review.

Looking forward to it! Thank you for your business! I can understand why you haven't come across my material, as it is all self-published, and I the last time I lectured in the Portland area was about ten years ago!
