Where can I find something to cut the balloons when I need to make a cut? Right now I am using scissors. I worked a festival with another balloon artist this past weekend and he had something on his belt to cut the balloons. I didn't get a chance to ask him where he got it from but I can't seem to find it online Any Ideas?

You can use a letter opener which is probably what he had (or some slight variation of that like the cutter that tmyers.com sells). They will work for everything except cutting up the balloon long-ways such as to make a leaf for an apple. But for snipping off ends and such letter openers (the plastic ones with metal triangle blade like banks give away) work great.

I have a few of these but don't use them too often.

Snip-its are a brand name of a good cutter. Go to a craft store and look for any sort of thread cutter. That's what I use. I put it on a retractable badge reel that is clipped on my apron.

I believe fort auderdale paper sells a cutter that you cab clip on your belt. I generally do a tear or use my circle bee scissors. If you are a scissors person I can't say enough about them Even the points are like razors! Which is why I sit here today with a bandaged up index finger!

What I am looking for certainly does look something like a letter opener or a hook knife but as I said it clips to a belt. still no luck in my search for one. I will keep you posted if I find one.
