Dan Brown's new book has a Magic Square in it, and he builds up how impossible they are. I don't know how sales of the book are going, or whether the Magic Square will make it into the film, but it might be a good time to brush the cobwebs off your technique....

I had the same thought. Chuck Hickock's first book has an excellent presentation in it.

Really nice version from Richard Osterlind on the new 13 Steps DVD set, too.

Alain Nu ends his live show, “Invisible Connections,” with a magic square. It’s the key element in a wonderful routine, the theme of which is an exotic dream vacation. I’ve seen him perform it many times. The energy and excitement with which he reveals the sums yields a well-deserved standing ovation every time. The magic square is as fascinating to an audience as ever.
