Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of organizing a magic benefit show titled "Beyond Belief II" in Robbinsville, New Jersey to raise money for pediatric cancer patients at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. The line up of performers includes Mac King, John Cassidy, Jason Bishop, Chad Juros, and Yours Truly as the host. Below is a copy of the official description from the website: Quote:
The Spread the Magic Foundation in conjunction with the Robbinsville High School Interact Club, is proud to present Beyond Belief II – a sequel to last year’s sold out evening of magic, illusions, comedy, and more! We come to you again this year with an amazing lineup of performers, featuring the talents of Jason Bishop, John "BalloonFREAK" Cassidy, Chad Juros, Matt Schick, and special guest Mac King – direct from his award winning comedy magic show at Harrah’s Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. Thanks a lot for reading and I hope to see some of you there!! -Matt Schick |

If you have not heard about this show, you really should look into it. It is a fabulous show with a great tine up of talent. My wife and I went last year and had a GREAT time. Last year sold out the entire 1,000 seat auditorium and this year the talent line up is just as good.
There were so many great complemnts about the show last year and I am sure many folks will be coming back for this years addition. If you went last year, you know how much fun everyone had. If you also went last year, be reminded that this years show is ALL NEW with an incredible new line up of acts. This year will feature the magical talents of: - Chad Juros - Matt Shick - Jason Bishop - John Cassidy and - Mac King This will be held at the Robbinsville High School in Robbinsville, NJ on January 30th at 7:00pm. for more information or to order tickets online, please go to: http://www.magicofmatt.com/beyondbelief.html This really will be a wonderful show and tickets will sell out quickly. Hope to see many of you in attendance. Kyle

I got mine - Never saw Mac King live so looking foward to it.
The magic is not in our sleights and illusions, but instead in our ability to bring love and joy.

I'm surprised no one else followed up on this show/thread. It sold-out again and was a super fun show. Chad and Matt were well received and both did really well. John Cassidy killed them as he always does. And both Mac and I got partial and full standing O's (Mac got the full one).
Best part the show raised $17,000 to help children dealing with cancer via the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. And this was all organized by a then 17 year old (now 18) Matt Schick. My hat is off to this kid. $17,000 though, it's pretty crazy that a super fun night could garner such a substantial amount for a deserving charity. |

Totally agree with you 100%. I do not know ANY kid Matt's age that can put a show together of this caliber and have it be such a HUGE success. my hat is totally off to you bro. If anyone deserves a standing "O", it is you!!

Kyle and Jason,
I agree. This was an oustanding show in every respect. All of the performers did an excellent job. Matt is an extraordinary young man who pulled off an amazing event. He and all who donated their time free of charge deserve to be lauded. In addition to the fact that a huge amount of money was raised for a truly worthy cause, the very entertaining acts reminded everyone in attendance that magic done well is an exceptional art form.
