Can anyone give me feedback about The Haunting (the little skeleton that writes a card predition). I remember seeing it in a magic shop years ago and didn't pick it up because it seemed rather "involved". But not remembering the details I'm wondering if anyone has an opinion about it? Does it involved a forced card? What are the mechanics like? Etc...

I recently added it to my collection (exchanged it with something I had, so I lukely didn't have to pay because it costs a lot on Ebay) and I like it. Not thé best trick but nonetheless it fools 'laymen'. They also find the skeleton writing 'cute'. I need to buy a very thin pencil to put in the Skeletons hands, the regular size (here in Europe, don't know about USA) is too thick.
The way you have to make the skeleton 'move' is a bit 'tricky' imho. There is also a small 'angle'-problem, especially when you have rather small hand like me. Yes, it involves a forced card. It is being sold on Ebay for 150 USD, which is too much I think. It is rare however. If you're not a Tenyo collector I think for 150 USD you can buy much better tricks So in a nutshell: ++ it's cute and actually a pretty good trick - people like it (a lot actually), however -- the handling is a bit tricky & it costs too much for what it is Hope that helps |

Yes very helpful. I'm not going to pay $150 for it but I may have other options for purchasing. Thank you.
