David Bilan, (one of our grammar host) had multiple health issues this year. Fusion of two cervical vertebrae, angioplasty to two blood vessels and a stent, motorcycle crash which shattered his right shoulder (required surgery, a plane and ten screws... bone did not knit, so he required a second surgery 10 weeks later) as well as the rhythm problems.

He had to make several trips to the hospital for recurring bouts or atrial fibrillation (heart beating out of sync at 150+ beats a minute).

They tried several methods of treatment, all centered around slowing his heartbeat (leaving him feeling exhausted).
