Nice find, Gaddy - a Reuters article indicates they are a hit with the kids in Japan. They are modelled after a 3 or 4 day old chick, "when they are at their cutest," and stay cute forever.
Nice and PETA friendly - chirps, wings flap, great! But I don't like the part that says, "Cries when it's not given attention!" How do we hack that? |

I got one of these a couple of years ago. I didn't do ANYTHING at all. It would have been nice if the instructions had been in a language I could read.

According to the YouTube video Bri posted, they 'chirp and flap their wings when stroked.' So perhaps, they are silent until you interact with them...
