The iPod touch seems to be the ultimate weapon ... leading to the question ... is the console sound receptive??

It can record sound, but you have to purchase headphones with a built-in microphone for it to be able to sense sound.
It doesn't have a built-in microphone. The iPhone does, however. |

I just could not take all the hype about iPod touch anymore. I had to buy one. My second correct choice was to buy iForce. This is magic by which all standards will be set! WulfieSmith |

You can buy a mic for $3 off ebay that works well. I just recorded a business convention I attended and it came out fine. IPod Touch is a fantastic device. Gerry

You can get a small mic for the ipod touch for around 10-15 dollars sihpped on ebay. it's pretty small, but it protrudes from the headphone slot
