What a fantastic article! Thanks for sharing this with us all, Todd. I actually really like the finished result as a piece of art. If it was cleaned up and framed, I bet it would only look better with age.

This cracked me up! Bravo for giving it a shot. There must be a solution to this problem. Maybe the copper plate wasn't clean enough (had some oils on it or wasn't stripped down to raw)? The plate looks like it's got a satin finish on it, so maybe that's the problem? |
