I picked up the last set of these a few weeks ago and have been playing with them. I knew of them for many years, but recently visited Russell's shop and saw them at a silly price. (£25, I don't know if they were that price as it was their last set, I seem to remember them being around the £50 mark.)
The Eddie Joseph book they came with is excellent with lots of sleights and 3 full routines. As far as the shells go, they are more of a taller shell (as far as I can remember) than the SFS Antique Copper ones, possibly around the same height as the Vernet shells. As far as shells go, I am still a rookie, but I am having fun with these.... http://www.cupsandballsmagic.com/Deluxe-......ame.html Bri |

One of the things we found with TWEEZERS is the surface you work on is important. If it has a bit of roughness, the Pea will do what you want it to. But if you use a smooth velvety close-up pad... forget it. Check this out at http://www.petebiro.com

I think it looks like a very practical, workable thing, all stored in its own little case! Great thinking, Pete!

Haven't even shipped the first run, and they're almost sold out.

Bri,
Looks like a really nice set of shells. Pete, Just ordered your Tweezers. I can't wait to receive the package. I can certainly understand why they're flying off the shelf. You did an outstanding job with your handling...and I hope one day I'll make the routine look as good as you do. Seasons Greetings! -Rich |

Do these pewter shells have a "back notch?"

Yes, they do, Kevin. I should have taken a photo that showed that actually...
Pete, I think you should let people know how to order... I couldn't see a price or link to order... Bri |
