Not sure if this is the best place to post but has anybody had experience with this build?
http://www.puppet-planet.com/theatre_diagrams.pdf I have made two other puppet theatres. The first one made of pine was great, but far too large to transport easily. The one I have currently has stood for two years, and is made out of PVC pipe. Three problems with it: 1) Too light, so it gets blown around if using it outdoors. 2) Has been left in my car too many times on a hot summer’s day and has slightly warped. 3) Some of the joints have cracked through misuse and abuse through workshops. The theatre above looks okay, but I would modify it to have top and side curtains around the puppets themselves. I think it looks to open. Also I would make it slightly wider. I sometimes use three puppeteers and it can get quite squashy. Just wondering how sturdy this is. Otherwise, can somebody suggest anything better?
