Does anyone have experience using multiple loads with the Benson Bowl? I know this occurs frequently with chop cup routines. Is it similar to pull-off with the bowl?

Goshman used to produce a bagel, then he'd say something like, "You want LOX?" He'd lift the bowl and there would be a couple of padlocks.

As Pete used to say, there are no rules in magic. Why not? And I believe multiple loads offer more surprises.

Lance Pierce does a double final load in his "World Famous Bowl Routine." The first is about a dozen 2" sponge balls; the second is a lemon.
I've seen others do a double final load, as well. |

Very easy - use the same principle of any cup load. As the first load is brought into view, perform a secondary load.
In fact, the "Benson" routine is nothing but vanish, load, vanish, load, vanish, load. Final loads are simply an extension of the primary routine. |

Basically, the bowl is a wider version of a cup.

In earlier years, Roy Benson performed a final load with the Benson Bowl routine; however, he dropped that in favor of the sponge ball routine in the spectator's hand, explaining that it always got a better response than the final load.
My reference here is Roy Benson by Starlight.

You can read all about the bowl routines: Benson's, Rezvani's (which Jeff McBride KILLS with), Johnny Thompson's and mine in my new book -- BOWLing With the Stars. See it for sale at http://www.petebiro.com
