Does anyone know of a source for sponge stars?

Howdy Motown,

Was just asking for sponge ball help, myself. If you have access to a fine jeweler saw with fine teeth, you could get the proper thickness/density foam from a craft shop and cut out the size star you need. Craft shops also have different dyes and colorings to get the right shade.
This is, of course, if you cannot find a ready made source.

An electric knife, such as the ones used to carve turkeys, is what friends of mine who are professional foam carvers use. The key is to use as little pressure as possible. Let the knife do the work.

Soaking sponge in water and freezing it also allows you to saw, file, sand (wet and dry paper), re-freeze, saw, file, sand, etc...
