Anyone had the chance to check out Leftovers by Carroll Baker? I have had the opportunity to read this and there is excellent advice on working restaurants. The effects are great , but the 20 plus years of experience is what is so valuable. I know a lot of guys who want to get into restaurants, but do not know how. The book covers this , as well as some of the mistakes magicians make when approaching a restaurant about work. I wish I had read this prior to my first gig.

I have been doing magic for decades and this is still one of my favorite books. What I like is you could take this book and every effect in it, customize it for your own taste (or use as is), and you could have an excellent show with just this book.
