Any one have any thoughts on Noblezada's Zap, It looks interesting but I have zero experience with hypnosis and quite frankly a little afraid of playing with peoples minds... but I have a interest in it and all of Jay's projects have been excellent! Just looking for a little advice. Thanks

I have found that there are far easier, nicer and kinder ways of inducing hypnosis than dislocating someone's shoulder!
Call me old fashioned, but as a generalisation, people prefer to have all their limbs attached to their bodies! If starting (and I have no financial interest) get yourself over to Anthony Jacquin's site by googling "Reality Is Plastic". It's an excellent starting point for direct, quick and safe way into the hypnosis world. And he/you achieve this all without screaming at people to take their mind off the pain of dislocation! Hypnosis, whilst not complicated is a bit more than yanking people's arms off!

Find some good, reliable and safe "face to face" live training, that's my advice.
Best way to learn Hypnosis. All the best.

The ZAP technique is a modified arm pull induction. It is also, unfortunately, very aggressive and has very unsafe components (like tossing people to the ground). Most truly competent hypnotists could do it in a far safer way.
For competent instruction in speed hypnosis, there are a number of folks, including myself, who teach more material and safer techniques. My "big" product on this subject is at http://www.briandavidphillips.com/products/speed.html and you can see a number of videos on my youtube as well. I don't know Noblezada but given that he repeatedly calls the guy who claims to hav e created the Zap method along with his thirteen year old son the "greatest hypnotist in the world" I would strongly suggest that he hasn't actually seen that many competent hypnotists. Please also keep in mind that while a number of us teach speed hypnosis techniques, it is NOT the speed that matters, it's effectiveness and competence and what you do with the trance once you've got 'em there. The ZAP material teaches only one induction and it does not do so in as clear a way as many competing products. It's not a bad induction if modifed for safety, but unfortunately it too often is not and many folks in this forum are particularly offended by the promotional approach to the product. All the best, Brian

The one thing that I dislike about Zap is the importance placed on the induction part of hypnoses.
It seems to be aimed at people who just want to "Zap" people to look cool. Then what? They don't seem very interested in what to do next or what can be done next. Out of a range of inductions, Zap is the most violent so why bother and just go with something nicer to all - You are trying to win friends and entertain not pee people off and leave them in pain - Why when therefore there are so many other fast and slow but nicer for everyone inductions about would someone even bother with "Zapped"? But the main part is that the goal for entertainers is to entertain and the induction part alone does not and never will make a show - Why therefore do some think that just zapping people is all there is to a hypnosis show? Whilst induction needs to be there in some form or other, it's hardly the whole show or the entertainment factor in a show. Zap doesn't seem to be interested in anything other than being cool!

It is marketed to children by children.
I have found a good old punch in the face works just as well as Zap.

I just want to thank everyone that posted on this Zap topic. I was not overly impressed by the video. It seem mostly interested in taking our money. Thanks to the good people of this forum I am 100 dollars richer and will invest it in a more worthy effect.
thanks |

This technique is just too aggressive and too dangerous! Don't do it, if you don't want to hurt your audience and if you care.

Do zap with persons between 21 and 45, without health problem, or you could have problems yourself

Whats wrong with doing it for people between 20 and 46?
As I write this I'm in Prague, running a four day workshop, and I've just enjoyed a couple hours zapping people in The Old Town, yet the zapping I did took much longer, about 20 seconds. But yet people viewed it as instant hypnosis, which is exactly what it was, and all with the hypnotee's permission. BUT I am not knocking 'Hung One' as it does look cool and he probably doesn't really do what he says he does anyway.

I've noticed if you spell the foul language wrongly, like fcuk, they seem to think that that's cool. I like a committee with a sense of humour!
