If you have a set of Riser Mini Traditional cups, and you want a baseball load for them, go to http://www.markwort.com/model_view.asp?model=3900 The 6 5/16" St. Louis cork ball by Markwort will fit perfectly. The 6 1/2" ball will not fit. These are circumference measurements, not diameter measurements.

Isn't the same ball found on the RNT2 site?
http://rnt2.com/index.php?target=products&product_id=29859 It's 66 cents more... but you don't have to purchase 12 of them. -Lee |

Yes, that's the same ball. I buy them by the dozen and offer them individually.

That slight difference is what makes the balls fit the Riser Mini Traditionals. Most people don't know that the 6.3" balls exist. Actually, MOST people don't know that St. Louis cork ball exists!!!!

What do you know? Bill's right. The link is to a BCB2 model that is slightly smaller. I stock the CB2 which is 6.5" diameter.
I didn't even know these existed - and the link didn't work correct the first time I visited it. That's what I get for making assumptions! {wiping egg off face} |

Not to worry, Don. The quality of your cups more than makes up for a minor error like that!!! Have a happy and prosperous New Year's.

Is Jim still making the cups? He told me less than a year ago that he was going to stop producing magic and get into something with more profit potential. Riser is one of my favorite artists and has been helpful to me and my shop craft on more than one occasion.
And Happy New Year, too!!!
...Your professional woodworking and "tender" loving care in the products you make, make the wait worthwhile. Thanks for all you do...

Jim still has some magic he is still making. He was planning on making another run of the Minis sometime soon.
E-mail Jim to be sure though, as plans can always change. |
