I just got this book this morning.
Rather than go into all the details of what is in the book -- the Benson routine (from his lecture notes), the Rezvani routine (as translated by Dariel Fitzkee, Johnny Thompson's routine, Don Alan's routine, Goshman's routine, Takagi's routine and, of course, Pete's famous toilet plunger routine -- I'll say two things. 1) All of the important material about doing a bowl routine is in this booklet, clearly explained and well-detailed. 2) If you do the bowl routine, or if you are even thinking about doing the bowl routine -- get this book.

Is that the same plunger routine that's in Mike Caveney's MAGICOMEDY?
Seems every book I open has Pete's name in it somewhere. Prolific or what?

NO NO not like Caveney's... BTW, Joe Stevens has plenty in stock at http://www.stevensmagic.com
What does "prolific" mean? Is it dirty?

Whether prolific is clean or dirty depends entirely on the by-products.

If your magic was promiscuous it would be easy.

I highly recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about bowl routines. There's even a fuuny story contributed by Bill Palmer in the book too.

If you can ever get to see Jeff McBride do the Rezvani Tomato trick... do it. He has made it a masterpiece. I never thought the use of a punch whistle would play as strong as it does.

I have just sent to the Printer two new books. The Magic of Emile Clifton and The Indian Cups and Balls (has a lot of history, as I know it, about Western cups too).
Watch for them on my web site.
