I have recently read about Howard Thurston and David Devant in Mr. Jim Steinmeyer's "Hiding The Elephant." I will be honest and say, as a young magician, this book is my first exposure to the wonderful history of magic. One thing captured that captured my attention in this book that I have not been able to track down is Eggs Extraordinary, the trick with a boy, a girl, a hat and producing many eggs from it. I wish to use this effect in my kid shows. I do not wish to copy Mr. Thurston or Mr. Devant, as I will develope my own routine, but this effect fits my style for kid show performances.
Thank you for your help! Matt B. |

Tarbell, Volume 5, page 206. All the info you'll ever need on the effect!
Good stuff! Keith
