No wonder you were voted Canada's best magician! That was an excellent display of controlling someone's response.
Actually, it was perfect! My head hurts now.

What also amazes me is your ability to work with the guy who obviosuly wanted to talk and continue to talk as you were trying to do your patter etc. Not always easy but you controlled the situation perfectly. Very nice.

Hey Eric...you do have balls doing that on live TV. I'm just curious, did you have a back up if he did not pick golf. Anyway, it was awesome.

Well I had the rising voodoo doll in my pocket..that was my backup... If I missed I would of asked him to concentrate on his special thought to make the dool levitate. Deninitaly not as impressive. hehehe |

The worst part is the audience will write it off and never really know how cool a thing they actually saw! Darn nice stuff. Takes guts to go out on a limb that far and with a guy who has a saw! He would have been just as happy to saw the limb off on ya man.
That took some testicular fortitude to not do something 'safe'. It was a great thing. Really nice work.

Hey guys thanks for the feedback!
I totally agree that for laymen, this clip isn't quite as interesting as traditional visual magic. But that's ok I guess, this is why I posted it here for us magicians to see. Kyle: This host and I always battle for "talk time" on air. We are both very outspoken and funny and always try to get one up on the other. It worked out ok I guess because I was prepared for him. |

Great job Eric. Nice work.
I'm just wondering if it would be more powerful just producing a regular golf ball. I could be dead wrong, just a thought. Either way I still loved the trick and your handling of it. Todd |

That was great.
I think to be fair to the host he added a bit more drama with his somewhat deliberate reactions at the end and sold you a bit more to the audience in doing this. But I think this comes from you impressing him so much and then him realising with a bit more from him this could become a really good tv moment. It seems to me that it was all about getting him onside which you achieved brilliantly. |
