Hello to all,
OK, so here's the deal. I've been invited to perform at a cabaret in London. I'll be one of 8 variety acts, some magicians, some burlesque etc, etc..... I'm only going to be doing 7 minutes maximum and I want to impress. What would you guys suggest I do? I really want to hit them hard between the eyes straight away and I don't want anything that's deemed "old hat". Big, visual and in your face. Possibly a little risqué even Any ideas? I've until the end of March to get something sorted and my mind has drawn a blank... Which is typical. Cheers, Ros

Perhaps a variation on the Torture Crib. I saw Danny and Annette use a torture board with a Tom Horn belt. Here, you create a costume in pieces attached by velcro so that as each minute goes by, a piece is pulled off. Here goes a sleeve, there goes a pant leg. So if you don't complete your escape in time, there's a chance that you will be left with nothing but the full monty.
