Last Saturday I did fifteen minutes of magic for a benefit our church was hosting. As I was setting up I realized that the M.C intended on sitting behind me for the entire act. Due to the nature of various tricks (temple screen being one) I realized it could be disastrous for someone to be behind me. So I stepped up to the man, and told him that he might want to go sit in the audience and see this. He went without further persuasion, and the show was a huge success.
Note to self: Take a drink of water before performing. Halfway through the first effect my tongue felt like sandpaper and my lips were cracking. Thanks for reading!

Hi David.
Way to go with your Show !! I'm glad to hear you were a success. Good thing you were able to get the M.C. to go and sit out front or He might of really thrown off your concentration during the show. thanks for sharing, Bob. |

He wouldn't have thrown me off my concentration so much, it was just that from that vantage point he would have seen how at least one trick was done.
By the way, it's funny that you should write back, Dr. The theme of my act was doctors and medicine! David.
