My music partner Hans worked at a brewery forty years ago, and they had the same (previous) policy that one could grab a beer as needed throughout the day. (In addition, they could take six bottles home with them at the end of the shift.) He said some of the old timers were drinking twenty beers a day, every day of the year. Or at least when they were working.
It truly surprises me that Carlsberg had a similar policy until April of this year! I guess MADD isn't big in Denmark. |
