Let's not forget Canada...A LOT of talent there: Dai Vernon, Jay Sankey, Richard Sanders, just off the top of my head.
Cheers. |

Can anyone explain Thompson's Out Of This World in further detail? Is it completely hands-off from pre-effect to post-effect? What is meant by saying that this requires no indicator cards or displacement? On a scale of 1-10, how difficult is this?

If you are familiar with the traditional version of OOTW, then you should know what the indicator cards and displacement refer to. If you are not familiar with the traditional version, then the writeup won't make much sense to you, as it assumes basic knowledge of the effect. I would say the difficulty level is a 1 or 2 at the most. No real "moves," just a bit of timing. If you need additional info, you can PM me. |

Thanks for the interest in OOTW. . On a scale of 1 to 10 its a zero on difficulty level.
So to ask if it is hands off from pre-effect to post effect is fair but the answer depends on when you believe the effect begins in the minds of the spectators. I hand them the deck to deal into reds and blacks and then never touch the cards until I simply plop the piles over at the end to reveal the reds and blacks. It would be possible to have the spectators do this but the simple act of telling them to turn over the piles would take more effort than you just plopping them over. It would be dramatically unsound (I reckon) Steve any questions... stevethompson.mail@gmail.com |
