..aside from the 3 that are out there (as far as I know):
-Michael Ammar's Complete Intro. to Coin Magic -Michael Rubinstein's Knockout Coin Magic -Sol Stone's Quick & Casual Close-Up L&L Publishing will be releasing Michael Rubinstein's West German 7-tape series (hopefully in DVD too) by the end of May (per L&L Pub.). much more convenient than VHS tapes. Have you looked at Jeff McBrides excellent three VHS tapes on Coins, Thimbals and Balls?
They are just great. Also, I liked "Sylvester the Jester", (VHS) the "Jester's pitch" It seems difficult but I learned the move in a day, now I'm smoothing it out before I go into the routine.

Hmmm. I might just check it out. Fast forwarding, rewinding, forwarding is kinda tedious though

Rumor has it some of the A1 David Roth videos are slotted for re-release on DVD sometime this year. I would guess volumes 1, 2, and 3.

Don't have the Roth videos yet (I've been wanting to buy, though). Hopefully the rumors are true.

I am collecting Roths 1, 2, 3 next week in the UK, I can't wait to see them.
Regards Alan. PS.... The Mike Rubenstein stuff is absoulutely fantastic, I just need to get a bit better before I can do all the moves he has. It's a question of me trying to run before I can walk. There are so many great moves on his DVD it's a great deal. |

Michael Rubinstein's DVD is awesome. I like his material and even ordered one of his notes (he also has another video, but in VHS). Check out
http://www.coinvanish.com As for the Roth tapes, I will definitely get those (how many did he make--a gazillion series or about 20? |

There's my fav revolutioary coin magic of Jay Sankey it's only on VHS, but, a lot of his material is on his new DVDs.
Then Best of Jay Sankey from L&L his routines are very strong and also Knuckle Busters. Takes some time to learn but well worth it

I have Vol 3 of Jay's DVD and only has 2 coin tricks. Main reason I bought his DVD was for his card stuff.
Regards, Tony (hmmm, why isn't there a picture of a coin or a bill) |
