I was wondering if anyone had some good baseball themed balloons for lines at a minor league baseball game.
I already have a good mascot hat, but I'm not sure how to make a baseball cap.. Also want to see any other ideas people may have. |

I often make a baseball (white 5" round) tied to a few 160's as a string to a baseball bat. It is a good interactive sculpture that everyone seems to enjoy. In one of the columns on BalloonHQ there is a description of how to make a baseball bat. Here is a link: http://www.balloonhq.com/column/dmccullough/apr09/ . On one of Don Caldwell's videos, he has instructions on making a baseball glove which I have used.

Thanks for all of the great ideas!
I have one of Gilbert Adams' DVDs which shows a baseball hat similar to the one you talk about like the fishing pole. Mark, I also have both of your BOTB dvds, which of course are some of my main events. Is the baseball cap similar to your dolphin and shark? I've heard that be talked about as a baseball cap type of hat, but was unsure how to bend it to give it the cap look. |

After reading this post I tried making the bat using a 260 and it came out great. I will have to add this to my Balloon Menu. when I get a chance to download some pics from my camera I will post them here. My next balloon order I will try and order some 350's and see the difference
